WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Two of the biggest hurdles for scientists designing their own graphics are not knowing where to begin and assuming that design skills and special software are necessary. This workshop, taught by climate scientist Ilissa Ocko, will provide insight into the process of creating an infographic and show how anyone can create a graphic using basic software. Participants will go through a step-by-step guide for creating a science infographic from scratch, with special emphasis on creating graphics using PowerPoint.
