NC State will investigate allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation in a prompt, thorough and impartial manner.  NC State will take appropriate steps to address policy violations whenever substantiated to stop the discrimination, harassment or retaliation, to remedy its effects and to prevent its recurrence. This regulation describes the procedure for filing, processing and resolving complaints that allege discrimination, harassment or retaliation. This regulation additionally describes how NC State handles informal reports or concerns of possible discrimination, harassment or retaliation that are not submitted as a complaint for formal processing.
