CWSP Brown Bag: Low-Threshold Approaches to Digital Creativity

Dear Colleagues,

Registration is now open for the Campus Writing & Speaking Program’s final Brown Bag event for fall semester: “Low-Threshold Approaches to Digital Creativity” by UNC-Chapel Hill Professor Daniel Anderson on Tuesday, November 14 from 12pm-1pm in Caldwell M8.
In this presentation, Dr. Daniel Anderson will explore a range of digital activities that can be incorporated into classes in several disciplines. The emphasis will be on easy-to-implement activities and manageable learning curves. We also explore strategies for assessing digital writing and for addressing concerns of intellectual property. The presentation will also focus on ways that digital writing can foster creativity, engagement, and internal motivation.
A box lunch from Panera Bread will be provided to the first eight participants to register. Lunch winners will be notified via email by Wednesday, November 8.
