Congratulations to Dr. Elizabeth Pitts in being the recipient of the CRDM Dissertation Award! 

This year, the committee chose the Dissertation of Elizabeth Pitts to be the recipient of the 2017 CRDM Dissertation Award.

Elizabeth’s dissertation, titled “Distributing Biotechnology: (Re)Organizing DNA and Scientific Work” was defended in December 2016, and her committee was: Jessica Jameson and Bill Kinsela (co-chairs), Susan Katz, Jason Delborne, John Godwin, and Steve Katz.

Each year the CRDM Dissertation award winner will receive a plaque, and a 250 dollar cash award.
