I, Nupoor Jalindre, am a Ph.D. student in the Communication, Rhetoric and Digital Media program at NC State. I am writing to invite you to participate in my survey which seeks to understand the range of information technologies that people trained in the humanities use professionally.

 

When people trained in the humanities move on to get jobs in industry, many of them must work with information technologies. This study will help us gain an understanding of the technological skills that are required of those professionals, particularly the need for programming knowledge. We can use these results to suggest pedagogical applications and training programs for professionals and students with a background in humanities.
