Dear CRDM students and faculty:
The CRDM’s 2018 Symposium is calling for students / faculty to moderate the symposium sessions.
We need 5 volunteers, for the following sessions:
1. Two moderators for the opening plenary session, featuring our invited speakers: Shira Chess, Kishonna Gray, Larissa Hjorth, Christian Licoppe, and Nick Tandavanitj and two CRDM faculty / students.
The two moderators will share the following duties:
- Offer a five-minute introduction of the speakers
- Review the speakers’ work, in advance of the plenary session
- Prepare a few questions to engage both the theme of Hybrid Play and the speakers’ work.
- Get and manage questions from the audience.
2. One moderator for each of the two panel sessions, featuring our invited speakers: Shira Chess, Kishonna Gray, Larissa Hjorth, Christian Licoppe, and Nick Tandavanitj.
Each panel’s moderator will have the following duties:
- Offer a five-minute introduction of the speakers
- Get and manage questions from the audience.
3. One moderator for the final keynote session, featuring speaker Larissa Hjorth. The moderator will have the following duties:
- Offer a five-minute introduction of the speakers
- Get and manage questions from the audience
Please note: the plenary session takes place Monday, March 26 from 2:45-4:15. The panel sessions will take place on Tuesday, March 27, from 10:30-noon and 1:30-3:00respectively.
